CRUSADE TO NURTURE CHILDREN'S SUCCESS FOUNDATION

Open House at Pointe South Elementary School August 2014



Crusade to Nurture Children's Success sponsored the Open House at Pointe South Elementary for the 2014-2015 school year. Special guests in attendance included Senator Valencia Seay, Ward 4 City Councilman of Riverdale Kenny Ruffin, Clayton County Homeless Liaison Sonia Davis, PSE School Psychologist Cae'sare Collie, PSE School Social Worker Mr. Radcliff, and PSE School Counselor TaNisha Copeland.


Parents were able to visit their child's classroom and get a mini parent teacher conference.  Local businesses surrounded the cafeteria were State Farm Insurance, Body bi Visalus, ADT Security Company, Boy Scouts, AMI YOU YOU Professional Hair Braiding, Symmetry Direct, Woodforest Bank, Lite House, Inc., Images of Sophistication Etiquette & Dance Performing Arts Studio, New Tradition Martial Arts, Metro PCS, Music Lessons by Oswaldo Coello, Kid's World's Performing Arts Studio, and Symmetry Global.  


Senator Seay spoke and asked over 300 guests to go out and vote.  She also gave out four book bags filled with school supplies to the first four parents to register to vote. A parent or guardian had to be in attendance to receive a free raffle ticket.The boy's bike was donated by Wal-mart and the girl's bike was donated by the Clayton County Sheriff's Department.  Senator Seay and Councilman Ruffin drew the winning raffle tickets.

Chick fil-a donated food for PSE teachers, staff  and special guests. In addition, PSE PTA provided food.
